Human centred design
I start with people. Research shapes every decision, from strategy through to sentence.
About
Moving from Canberra to the Sunshine Coast three years ago gave me more than a sea change, it gave me perspective.
I’ve discovered that meaningful digital work can happen from anywhere. Technology allows me to continue working on projects that serve people across Australia. COVID-19 proved that great work isn’t defined by location. It showed we can collaborate effectively, build strong relationships and deliver exceptional outcomes, wherever we’re based.
For me, it’s the best of both worlds: creating national impact while being part of a community that values connection and balance.
The best content rarely starts with words. It starts with understanding people. For more than a decade I’ve helped government teams simplify complex services for millions of Australians.
From employment services and aviation safety to business support and digital procurement, my work has focused on turning policy, legislation and technical complexity into experiences people can understand and use.
My approach brings together content strategy, information architecture, behavioural science and accessibility.
My creative ventures give me space to experiment, build and learn. They keep me close to real customers and sharpen my understanding of what makes an experience feel thoughtful, clear and worth returning to. Whether I’m designing a digital service or making something tangible, I’m always thinking about the person it’s for.
I’ve spent my career helping people navigate complexity. If you’re looking for someone who brings curiosity, empathy and strategic thinking to every project, I’d love to hear from you.

How I work
I start with people. Research shapes every decision, from strategy through to sentence.
Content is a service. It needs structure, ownership and a plan that reaches beyond launch.
Accessible content is better content. WCAG AA is the floor, not the ceiling.
I bring calm and clarity to complex programs, with senior stakeholders and delivery teams.
Small changes in wording and order can lift comprehension and change outcomes.
Running my own ventures keeps me close to commercial reality and creative craft.
